A restored 18th-century Dutch merchant's house inside the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, retaining its original teak rafters, lime-washed walls and antique mahogany doors. Six suites are arranged around a central courtyard with a small reflecting pool and frangipani tree. The rooftop terrace serves cocktails at sunset with views over the ramparts and the Indian Ocean.
